We have overseen a variety of small and large projects with multiple scopes throughout the US (from 100 kw up to 40 MW DC), with nearly 250 MW’s installed to date. This experience guarantees safe and efficient solutions to utility and commercial scale renewable and alternative energy installations.
Leveraging the unparalleled construction experience of its team and utilizing only the most advanced equipment, NESCO guarantees customized solutions for all scopes and sized projects. We hold General Contractors and Electrical licenses in many states and, with our depth of well-trained, efficient and safety-focused team members, NESCO can easily mobilize to any national location.
NESCO has the capability to self-perform many of the scopes required. In-house services include foundation design and installation, mechanical and electrical installation, testing and commissioning, construction management services and site maintenance. NESCO’s ability to self-perform many of the project key elements and only rely on known partners, allows us to eliminate unnecessary mark-ups and reduce change order risk for all partners.
Customers can be assured that NESCO will meet project & construction management standards using schedule monitoring and real-time production reporting. Our construction managers utilize daily production and man-hour reports to extract daily evaluations. This real-time feedback results in continual production improvement throughout the course of the job while maintaining project schedule.

History and Leadership
NESCO’s roots and family-focused culture was founded in 2011, by Ty Searl, CEO. Ty grew up in his family’s construction business and is forever in his blood. His background includes residential building, commercial construction, and civil construction. During his career, Ty has worked as a Construction Forman, Superintendent, Estimator, and Project Manager. While working for PCL Construction, he successfully won over $500 million in bids at Denver International Airport. Later, he became lead estimator on DIA and then spent three years as a DIA Project Manager. In 2011, Ty made the commitment to take his comprehensive construction background and focus on the sustainable energy industry, NESCO was formed.
Ben Searl, NESCO’s president and chief operations officer, has followed in the family footsteps with over fifteen years of commercial and residential construction management. He has continued Ty’s commitment to focusing on construction in the sustainable energy industry. His comprehensive background, and multiple on-site hours to develop and implement NESCO’s innovative and efficient installation methods. Ben has focused his attention on building client relationships, honesty, integrity, safety, and a NESCO team that takes extraordinary pride in delivering incomparable quality and attention to detail on every aspect, of every project.

With our detailed approach to quantifying the proposed project, our historical data on several rack systems, and review of the local environment, our clients can be confident in the research of our proposals, and the accuracy of our estimates.
