Detailed and Accurate

With over 400 MW installed to date, NESCO has developed a set of best practices for designing and engineering projects. These standards allow our team to provide more economic value to projects while ensuring constructability and increased system longevity.

At NESCO, we take pride in our ability to build upon preliminary designs. This has a direct impact on the safety, quality, and efficiency across all scopes of work.  Our preconstruction team and engineers take a detailed approach and work collaboratively with our customers through the design development process to adhere to all owner and AHJ requirements while remaining conscious of the construction budget.

From concept to construction, we foster a collaborative approach from engineering to construction to create solar solutions that are both cost-effective and construction-ready

Featured Project: CEK3

On this Project, we were able to take ownership of the engineering scope once the project was awarded, allowing us to drive value engineering from the outset. This approach enables our team to offer informed design suggestions and construction strategies based on real-world experience, ultimately optimizing performance and reducing costs.

“The 1.2 MW Westar project design used a Solar FlexRack tracking system. This was Brandt’s first experience installing a Solar FlexRack tracking system. NESCO’s experience with the Solar FlexRack system played an important role in completing the installation within a narrow time frame. Their ability to use minimal professional staff to manage local labor helped alleviate customer concerns that the project would be installed by an out of state contractor. NESCO was very supportive in assisting other trades with questions or concerns regarding the installation of the system. Their flexibility in spite of inclement weather delays made this project a success. We look forward to working with NESCO on future projects.”

“RPCS has had the pleasure of working with NESCO for over 10 years. During that time RPCS has designed/installed over 2000 jobs with numerous EPCs and installers. We can confidently say NESCO has proven time and time again they are a best-in-class EPC/Installer. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service are second to none. NESCO consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all involved. We trust that your experience with them will be exceptional, and we wholeheartedly recommend them for your next project.”

“NESCO is one of the top installers that we have ever worked with and would be a great addition to any project. NESCO is able to take on civil, mechanical and electrical scopes with precision details. I would use them on every project if I could because of the quality of their installations as well as the management skills that their site leaders and management team possess.”

“NESCO is our first choice to work with on any ground mount projects. Their quality of work is unparalleled, but what keeps us coming back is the communication and collaboration. NESCO anticipates problems and helps to develop solutions; they are diligent with daily reports and RFIs; and they have safety and schedule top of mind. The field crew at NESCO is very experienced and easy to work with. NESCO understands that building a solar project involves multiple trades working in the same area, and they act in a very collaborative way instead of competing for workspace.”
